I recently pre-ordered a rug, what can I expect next?

After purchasing a rug you will be contacted by a Juxtaposition Home to set up delivery and go over shipping charges. All rugs are available for in store pickup or at home delivery. To learn more about pre-order items click here. 

Are shipping and delivery charges included in my rug purchase?

The price of your rug does not include shipping and delivery charges. Shipping costs depend upon rug size and weight. For example, smaller rugs cost approximately $50 to ship while larger area rugs cost a flat rate of $150 to ship to your residence. 

We waive shipping and delivery fees if your purchase exceeds $2000 and you are available to pick up at our store location. 

Can I customize the size of my rug?

Yes, If you require specific dimensions for your rug please contact us. Let us know the style, color and dimensions of the rug you wish to customize and we will respond with a quote. Custom orders take approximately 4-6 weeks and are always final sale. 

Where are the rugs made and are they fair trade?

Each rug is designed in Australia and handmade on looms by traditional artisans in India. Juxtaposition Home proudly supports manufacturers whose production is based on the IFAT Fair Trade Standards and support Carpet Export Promotion Council of India certifying that child labour was not used in their manufacture. 

Our rug manufacturer also works alongside India’s Care & Fair Program to provide health and educational support to families working in the rug production area. 

What dye is used to color the rugs?

Our manufacturer uses only the highest quality dyes to maintain color consistency and reliability. All of these are free of harmful benzene. Many fibers are undyed as well, exposing the beauty of the natural color and texture.
